| Since commercialization of the Internet in the 1980s, and its expansion for popular use in the 1990s, the Internet has had a dramatic impact on culture and commerce. Email, online chat, and web browsing have made communicating a message to a vast network an extremely cost effective marketing tool. |

Everyone in business relies on some form of Internet technology in their marketing efforts every day.
Think of your use of the Internet as your body. You feed it, wash it regularly (I hope), make adjustments when it's not feeling right and, if you're lucky, you only need to head to the doctor for regular checkups.
Many business professionals put off constantly changing Internet marketing techniques until their in panic mode, but regular technology upgrades not only keep your marketing running smoothly, they can save your business by keeping you ahead of the competition.
Here are 3 things you must do regularly
Upgrade your website. Something new and exciting is happening every day; archive that information on the Internet where your clients and prospect can freely access it and share in your enthusiasm.
Append your email lists. Communicating your business ideas to the people it can affect most is critical to Internet marketing success. Maintaining an email database that is CAN-SPAM compliant gives you the ability to instantly reach your target audience much more cost effectively than any other means of communication.
Evaluate your ROI. Monitoring and measuring logistics provides a solid application for planning, forecasting and modeling that relate to specific subjects. Measurable data provides the realization that certain things your company did in the past may or may not be yielding positive return, thereby providing a baseline for adjustments.
